this extraordinary interview, the joint under view, the first time it's happened with president obama and hillary clinton sitting down talking to "60 minutes." it airs tonight. i wonder is there talk in washington this isn't in some ways president obama picking favorites in the race to replace him in 2016 because joe biden is also talking about maybe running. >> reporter: that's right and, you know, joe biden isn't sitting right next to the president in that interview. i don't think president obama has ever done an interview sitting next to anybody but his wife. so you bet there's a lot of talk about that and we'll talk to our powerhouse roundtable about that. >> you heard hillary clinton say that this is a surprise, who would have thought four years ago they would be sitting together and being so close. very interesting. >>> also this week hearings, confirmation hearings for the president's defense choice, defense secretary choice, chuck hagel begin. at times this seemed to vary. what are the odds this is actually going to go through? >> reporter: i think the chances are very good it'll go throu

and billionaires are not children's autism and down syndrome. but with this approach? why did obama and his administration come in wanting to vilify the other side the content featured? he was bringing to the administration that philosophy of a community organizer. for years obama has said and silly community organizer, just at the national level. this was the one qualification that i think obama prior to the administration if you can even call it a qualification for president because he was a community organizer. he was a darn good one. he was known by fellow community organizers as the master of agitation. this is really important because the essence of how he views the world. obama would go into the community and identify an enemy for that group, for that community and he would stoke their animosity and really generate this angst, anger and hatred. while never on this rather pay an organization or person, he ran through his agenda. no discussion, no need for any debate or discourse, but all based on district everybody, get them focused on some entity and ran through whatever he wants. th

will produce $3 trillion in additional tax revenue to pay down deficits and the debt. by the way, that is more than barack obama hopes to get through his massive tax increases. there's more revenue through growth than there ever could be through tax increases, which is one of the ways, by the way, when i'm debating those on the left and they say they're for revenue, i inevitably agree. i'm for roirve, too. the best way to have revenue, i say, sit down with those in the business sector and i say i'd love to double your taxes. they look at me and think, did i come to the wrong meeting? i say i'd love for next year your profits to double and you would happily write twice as big a tax check. up want to pay down our debt, get the economy roaring, get people back to work, 4% growth for a decade, 3 million people would rise out of poverty and be standing on their own feet. we need to be unjet lick -- un jetically -- unalocal jetically the party of growth. we need to get back to growth and number two, we need to get back to opportunity. you know, if you could sum up what went wrong last election, i th

himself for the obama administration. i know he is going to be going into the administration for some type of position. he is not a bad man. he did come down here to promote the south coast rail system, which we have been waiting for for 40 years. all liberal issues he is just a little bit too lenient. we have so much waste in government. i would like to see someone conservative in the governorship to weed out all this fraud. we go to work hard every day and we shake our heads when we come home every night. host: let's take a listen to one of the republican governors in the country who has become a leading voice in gop issues. this is chris christie in his state of the state address. he starts by talking about hurricanes in the budde goes from there. >> there is plenty of evidence that new jersey has not let's stop our turnaround. and i'm unemployment is coming down -- unemployment is coming down. 2011 was our best private sector job growth in 20 years. personal income set a record high in new jersey for the seventh quarter in a row. income tax receipts -- sales of new homes are up. consum
